These tickets enable you to visit all public areas including the Bell Hall of the Edinburgh Woollen Mill Grandstand with it's extensive bars and fast food outlets, the Red Rum Bar, Family Bar, Parade Ring and Pre-Parade Ring. The Generals Bar & BBQ will also be open for some fixtures. You can also visit the Patterson Bar on the first floor of the Grandstand for all fixtures except those on 27/6, 7/7, 29/7 and 6/8.
Premier Admission Tickets (Only available on 27/6, 7/7, 29/7, 6/8)

Families and Children
Family and children are always welcome at the races and for children under 16 years of age, accompanied by an adult, admission is FREE! (Please note that for concert events charges apply for children aged between 5-15). Baby changing facilities are available in the Grandtsand. Childrens entertainment is arranged for certain meetings throughout the year. Please call 01228 554700 for details.
Disabled Racegoers
Disabled racegoers may take advantage of a designated parking area and a viewing platform on the first floor of The Edinburgh Woollen Mill Grandstand. On days where Premier tickets are required, these can be purchased at General Admission price, and a complimentary badge will be provided to an accompanying carer if required.
Dogs
Dogs are permitted on the Racecourse but should be kept on leads and under strict control at all times.
Dress Code
For General Admission tickets there is no specific dress code. Carlisle Racecourse reserves the right to refuse entry or ask any person to leave if their attire is thought to be unsuitable. For Premier Admission the dress code is that of smart casual and we especially encourage getting dressed up for some of our bigger meetings. Ladies night is especially famous for the diverse array of beautiful hats and there is a prize for the best dressed lady. Getting dressed up can really make a day at the races all the more fun!
Parking
Coach and car parking is free of charge in the raceday car parks located adjacent to the Edinburgh Woollen Mill Grandstand. Please follow the directional signs to the public car parks as you approach the racecourse. The course is fully signposted from Junction 42 of the M6 and from the surrounding areas.
Trackside Parking is available for all fixtures except those with concerts. The cost for Trackside Parking is £10 per car or £5 per car on Family Days.
Media/Photographers
Band management retain all image rights. Any photographer that is felt to be impeding or contravening these rights without accreditation and prior written consent will be requested to leave and escorted from the premises.
