BY ROAD:
From the North and South
Leave M6 at junction 42, follow signs for Dalston. Follow the road for approx 2 miles until you reach a staggered junction and turn right. The racecourse is approximately 1 mile on the left hand side.
From the East
Take A69 or A66 to M6 motorway. Join the M6 and leave at junction 42 and follow directions above.
From the West
Travel along the A595 following signs for Carlisle. Approximately 1 mile after Thursby roundabout, take right signposted for Dalston (Peter Lane). At T-junction in Dalston turn right. Follow road until you reach Bridge End pub. Turn left over the bridge and follow signs for Durdar. When you reach the next junction, turn left. The racecourse is approximately a mile on the left hand side.
BY BUS: On racedays, a Stagecoach bus departs from Carlisle bus station 75 minutes and 45 minutes before the first race to bring visitors to the racecourse. A return bus leaves the racecourse 15 minutes after the last race. Please note on occasions when races are split at the last minute, the bus will still depart from the racecourse 15 minutes after the original last race last race time. On non-racedays, the timetable for the bus serving the racecourse can be found by following the below link. Ask your bus driver which stop to get off at for the Racecourse! BY RAIL:
To Carlisle Station, Stagecoach (01228 597222) operate a bus service to Durdar – Route 65 or 66. Alternatively the Racecourse is only a short taxi ride away.
